Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) officially launched the โ€œHIYAS Hanapbuhay: Launch of IPpreneurship Project and MOA Signingโ€ in Sitio Kinaragan, Duale Limay, Bataan, aiming to strengthen the livelihood opportunities of the Samahan ng mga Kababaihang Ayra sa Kinaragan (SKAK), through entrepreneurship and digital marketing, May 26.

The program was spearheaded by Sir Joemark Ablian, together with College instructors Julie Diaz and Danreve Apostol, as part of LPCโ€™s continuing effort to empower local communities, particularly indigenous groups, by equipping them with practical skills in product development and online selling.

During the activity, facilitators introduced strategies on how SKAK members could effectively market their products through online platforms.

Participants were also taught various methods to improve product quality and presentation to increase their marketability.

Mr. Apostol engaged the members in a discussion regarding the challenges they encounter in selling their products.

Members shared difficulties in reaching buyers, promoting their goods, and improving product visibility in wider markets.

Meanwhile, Director for Research, Innovation, and Extention Joemark Ablian assured the association of LPCโ€™s commitment to assisting them in developing sustainable livelihood opportunities.

He emphasized the institutionโ€™s willingness to collaborate with the group in enhancing product ideas and productivity.

โ€œPwede nating gawaan ng paraan at pag-usapan kung may naisip kayong produkto, willing po kaming tulungan kayo para mas maging productive po tayo,โ€ Ablian said during the discussion.

SKAK President Ruby Ann Salonga expressed gratitude to LPC for its continued support and training initiatives extended to their community.

โ€œMaraming salamat sa patuloy na pag-suporta at walang sawang pag-training sa amin dito. Nawa ay tayo ay magkaisa, sipag at tiyaga po para sa ating lahat,โ€ Salonga stated.

The event concluded with the official signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between LPC and SKAK representatives, including the organizationโ€™s secretary and president, marking a strengthened partnership toward community development and livelihood sustainability. #
