De Leon joins CPDC-DepEd NEAP-PRC Consultation Meeting

Amidst Christmas rush and while on vacation leave, Dr. Elmer B. De Leon attended the consultation meeting with the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Council chaired by Hon. Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) of the Department of Education with Dir. Dr. Jennifer Lopez, and Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) CPD Division headed by Chief Dr. Guia on December 23, 2024 at the PRC Meeting Hall, PICC, Pasay City. The said meeting focused on discussions on updates, related developments and new policies and guidelines of PRC and DepEd in the light of career progression, professional development, PQF, and accreditation and specialization requirements intended for professional teachers. Obviously, the main goal of the said meeting was to harmonize and align policies and standards for the welfare of professional teachers through the said integrated agencies. At the end, everything was made clearly understood that led to relevant concept frameworks, model model and innovations.
