Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) on Friday celebrated its global and international accomplishments during its first-ever LPC Sparkle Gala Night with a theme“A Celebration of Global Leadership, Achievement, and Service,” at La Vista Inland Resort, November 21.

The event opened with gala photo sessions and a red-carpet walk, setting an elegant tone for the celebration.

LPC College President Dr. Elmer B. De Leon delivered the opening remarks, highlighting recent international accomplishments, ongoing developments, and the college’s vision in the future.

He also conveyed a message from Board of Trustees Chairperson and Limay Mayor Richie Jason D. David, who was unable to attend due to prior commitments.

Local officials, academic leaders, and private-sector guests delivered inspirational messages, including Hon. Maria Margarita R. Roque, Provincial Board Member of Bataan’s 2nd District; Hon. Mary Elaine P. Espela, Supervising Professional Regulations Officer of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region 3; Dr. Roger S. Ambida, President of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU). Region 3; and Dr. Ruby Santos-Matibag, president of Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU).

Representatives from Mitsumi Philippines, Orica Philippines, Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Mariveles, San Miguel Corporation, Department of Education, and Local Government Unit of Limay were also present in the said event.

The program continued with the presentation of the Bagong LPC video, followed by a full-production number by LPC staff showcasing the school’s Internationalization Program and unveiling the new LPC-SDG-WURI-QS logo, emphasizing the college’s commitment to global engagement and institutional branding.

A tribute video honoring Dr. Lora Yusi, former director of the Commission on Higher Education Region 3, was presented during the event in recognition of her dedication and service.

Hon. Alejandro Joaquin, Limay Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President, led the pledge of commitment, urging LPC staff to uphold values of leadership, service, community, and global engagement throughout the year.

Meanwhile, Dr. De Leon led a wine toast celebrating the institution’s achievements and expressing gratitude to faculty, staff, and guests for their support and dedication.

Furthermore, the ceremony recognized outstanding employees, offices, leaders, and partner sectors that contributed to LPC’s progress.

The first part of the event concluded with the singing of “Pilipinas Kong Mahal” and a dinner-music portion.

Meanwhile, a special segment honored BOT Secretary Remedios Mendoza’s birthday, featuring a Rose and Sweet Dance, symbolic gifts, and a message of appreciation. Attendees joined in singing “Happy Birthday.”

The program ended with closing and acknowledgment remarks from Academic Director April R. Cruz, followed by a lively dance party.

The Sparkle Gala Night highlighted the dedication of LPC’s educators and staff while showcasing the college’s ongoing initiatives to elevate academic excellence and community engagement. #
