Students affirm research-ready in 2nd ReCapB at LPC

Limay Polytechnic College, thru the Center for Research, Development and Extension, conducted the 2nd Research Capacity Building (Student Edition) at the audiovisual room, November 13, attended in by third year student research teams across departments. Dr. Elmer B. De Leon, president shared his expertise in research start-up dubbed as "Understanding Research Fundamentals: Practical and Made Easy", while Mr. Joemark D. Ablian, Research Coordinator at Polytechnic College of Botolan, Zambales walked them through with his lecture on "Bridging the Gap: Tips in Writing and Structuring Group Research". Both topics left the participants an impression of ensuring that they are in good hands in their research works and it brings them confidence in doing it the right way in an efficient, comfortable and exciting manner. And that they begin to love and appreciate the process in an easy and doable way. "We are now research ready," exclaimed the research teams. The program was organized and arranged by Ms. Ann Lou Rochelle Santiago, RDE asst. under direct guidance and assistance by Ms. Frances Ann Genese. This is a kick-off to the teams' topical and proposal defense sometime soon. To note, the next segments will focus on research process in specific contexts, such as action research (education), business and project research (operations management), marketing research (marketing), financial research (financial management), accounting research (accountancy) and capstone and innovation studies (computer technology), respectively. The CRDE is currently accommodating research clinic, coaching and mentoring.
