Date Posted: Aug. 27, 2025

The Office of Research Services of Norzagaray College headed by Ms. Romailyn Flores successfully conducted the student research seminar “AI in Research: Transforming the Research Landscape through Artificial Intelligence” on August 22, via Microsoft Teams.

The event was graced by Mr. Joemark Ablian, Director for Research, Development, and Extension of Limay Polytechnic College, who served as the distinguished resource speaker.

Mr. Ablian shared his expertise on the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, its growing applications in academic research, and the ethical considerations that come with its use. His engaging lecture provided students with both theoretical knowledge and practical insights, empowering them to responsibly integrate AI into their academic work.

The seminar was made more meaningful through the strong support of Dr. Elmer De Leon, College President of Limay Polytechnic College, and Dr. Liberty DG Pascual, College President of Norzagaray College, whose encouragement and commitment to advancing research and innovation continue to inspire both institutions.

With this collaboration, the activity not only enriched the learning experience of Norzagaray College students but also underscored the vital role of academic partnerships in shaping the future of research in the age of Artificial Intelligence. #
