The Department of Information Communication Technology (DICT), thru its provincial head Engr. Dale Martensen paved a visit at Limay Polytechnic College to re-establish partnership in pursuit of digital innovations through trainings, start-up programs and other related joint undertakings that the said agency can support and assist. The visitors were received by the Digitization and Technology Innovation Committee chaired by Mr. Jester Guillermo, MIS officer (for system digitization) and Ms. Cheyser Charrese Gatchula, head of Technology (for ACT development); Ms. Rodalie Dineros, head of Technical-Vocational Education (for the technical programs); and Mr. Mark Anthony Banda, admin assistant and QUALITI coordinator (representing the President). Hence, Hon. Remigio S. Tayag, the ever-supportive SB Education Committee chair joined the team's collaboration effort. During the discussion, the LPC team laid down initial program with the previous DICT-Bataan Management Team, including their active partnership engagements, the executed memorandum of agreement and the four awards handed in by the DICT to LPC, while they supplicated support for the operation of the Associate in Computer Technology. On the other hand, the DICT Team offered their services and assistance to LPC in pursuit of digitization and ACT operation as part of the continuing partnership of the two entities. More so, the latter invited the former in its Start-up Program that is now in place with institutions. Note, LPC considers DICT as a strong support to LPC in realizing its goal of digitization and internationalization. In fact, the said agency was awarded Enabling Stakeholder Award in 2022 and 2024 during the Stakeholders' Appreciation Day in celebration of the Foundation Day. This opportunity came its way as some student-interns were deployed in the said agency that bridged in continuously with LPC.
