LPC Unveils e-LPC Digital Hub to Transform Campus Services
Date Posted: May. 16, 2025
Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) unveiled e-LPC, an all-in-one digital service hub designed to modernize academic and administrative operations by integrating multiple campus systems into a single online platform, May 16.
The platform consolidates services that were previously spread across separate websites, including the learning management system, grading system, library services and campus clinic functions, allowing students and faculty to access essential tools through one unified portal.
College President Dr. Elmer B. De Leon said that this project aims to strengthen digital governance and institutional agility by reducing duplicated processes, streamlining workflows and improving coordination among academic and support units.
A key feature of e-LPC is its AI-driven Psychological First Aid component, which provides guided initial support for student concerns and prompts appropriate referrals, reinforcing the college’s commitment to technology-enabled student welfare.
This project was led by Cheyser Charrese C. Gatchula, Information and Technology department head, with support from the institution’s IT unit, academic staff, clinic and library personnel, and students involved in system development and implementation.
The digital hub is positioned as LPC’s long-term digital backbone, supporting faster decision-making through centralized data on learning performance, service usage and operational needs.
Administrators reported that early impacts include easier access to services for students, more efficient grading and course management for faculty, and improved operational visibility for college leadership, though user adjustment and ongoing training remain challenges.
The e-LPC program remains in continuous development, with plans to expand service integration, enhance analytics for management decision-making, and further strengthen safeguards and human linkages for its AI-supported student services
