From the quiet town of Limay, Bataan to the classrooms of the United States Virgin Islands, Jerwin Cruz Perez stands as a living testament to what passion for education and a strong foundation from Limay Polytechnic College can achieve.

His journey of excellence began at an early age. As a young learner, he consistently demonstrated academic promise, earning distinctions such as Natatanging Mag-aaral and academic honors during his elementary and secondary education.
Perez pursued his college education at LPC, where he took up Bachelor in Elementary Education. During his stay as an LPCian, he consistently emerged as a Deanโs Lister, was named Artist of the Year, and graduated Cum Laude. A clear proof of his dedication to both academic and creative excellence. It was within the halls of LPC where his calling as an educator was shaped.

Determined to grow more in his profession, he pursued graduate studies, completing units in Master of Arts in Education and later earning a degree in Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Management.
Never one to stop learning, he also completed a Nursing Assistant Course with High Honors in 2024, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and self-improvement.
๐ฉ๐จ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ต๐ฌ ๐ถ๐ญ ๐บ๐ผ๐ช๐ช๐ฌ๐บ๐บ.
His professional career began in 2011 and steadily progressed through various teaching and leadership roles. He served as an elementary school teacher in Limay and later rose through the ranks at St. Francis Elementary School, from Teacher I to Teacher III.
In 2021, Jerwin achieved a milestone that brought immense pride to Limay Polytechnic College: he began teaching at Yvonne Milliner Bowsky Elementary School in the United States Virgin Islands, USA.
Holding a Level 2 Teaching Certification in the United States, he now educates learners on the international stage, carrying with him the values, competence, and excellence nurtured by LPC.

During his acceptance speech as a recipient of the Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award at the 4th LPC Stakeholders Night, Jerwin captured the essence of his journey:
โI am standing in front of you as proof that Limay Polytechnic College can compete with all other prestigious universities, not only in the Philippines but around the worldโฆ My journey as an educator began here in this very institution, and here I am raising the flag of LPC in the international arena.โ
He reminded young professionals that greatness begins not with perfection, but with purpose.
