CHED awards Institutional Recognition to LPC

In a significant and historic moment for the Municipality of Limay and Limay Polytechnic College, the Commission on Higher Education Region 3 headed by Dir. Dr. Lora L. Yusi handed in the most sought and awaited Certificate of Institutional Recognition on December 16, 2024 witnessed by the Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU) Region 3 and the 15 local college presidents and officials. This is an evidence of the recognition granted to LPC on July 14, 2022. Dr. Lora Yusi went to Limay to personally meet Municipal Mayor Hon. Richie Jason David, Hon. Vice Mayor Sarah V. David and Hon. Remigio S. Tayag, Jr., Chair, SB Education Committee, LPC admin, faculty and staff and thereby, to extend her congratulations. Relentlessly, the guests were received at the Mayor's Office and Conference Room in the Municipal Hall. During the discussion, Dir. Yusi appealed for continuous support to LPC, as becoming a promising institution after all its progress and development amidst struggles and challenges. She also commended the LPC Management headed by the president. Meanwhile, Dr. Roger Ambida, ALCUR3 president reiterated the need to sustain standards and the recognition of LPC through strong quality assurance, such as internal mechanisms, accreditation and internationalization. Both CHEDRO3 and ALCUR3 expressed their commitment and all-out support to LPC, being an active member and a remarkable institution in the region. Likewise, the mayor, vice mayor, SB Education Committee chair and LPC president gave their response commending and acknowledging both the agency and the association for this wonderful opportunity to be visited in this momentous occasion. They also promised to sustain the institution in the best effort that they can while graciously welcoming them to the humble town of Limay.
