PAFTE benchmarks CCC; executes MOU for faculty research and professional development

The Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) had its benchmarking visit at City College of Calamba in Laguna, which is also a local college, thru its OIC-President Ronald Gonzales. The said PAFTE Board headed by the President Dr. Brenda Corpuz was graciously accommodated by CCC Administrators and entertained by the Performing Arts. Representatives of the Offices of the Governor and Mayor graced the event to read the messages prepared by the distinct honorables. Hence, a memorandum of understanding was executed between PAFTE and CCC that stressed on faculty research and professional development that the former may provide to the latter in terms of assistance, training and mentoring. Sharing of best practices in sustaining impressive board results and obtaining top individual and school performance all throughout the years. Academic discussions between two entities were set. Questions and reactions from the board and participants were smartly responded by the CCC officials upon presenting their institutional video footage. This professional engagement conducted by PAFTE aims to provide assistance to member institutions toward collaborative endeavors, partnerships and provision of assistance on research, extension and faculty trainings that would uplift and sustain the banner of teacher education in the country. To note, next stop would be the PAFTE's partnership with LPC on community extension and cultural immersion with Magbukun Ayta Tribe in Sitio Kinaragan, Upland Duale, Limay, Bataan scheduled sometime soon as part of realization of the PAFTE Outreach Committee and cultural redemption program of LPC.
