CHEDRO points out sustaining LUCs' institutional recognition during ALCUR3 assembly

Dr. Lora L. Yusi, director of CHED Region 3 delivered a talk on "Sustaining Institutional Recognition among Local Colleges and Universities in the Region on December 16, 2024 at Limay Multipurpose Hall, Limay, Bataan. Dir. Yusi reiterated on compliances required by CHED and other matters that need to be sustained, such as qualifications of heads, faculty and staff, research, innovations and extension, internationalization, documentation and other quality assurance measures. She laid down the implications of non-compliance, such as revocation of recognition, cancelation of Unifast grant and other privileges, inability to take the board exams and non-issuance of certificates and red ribbons for purpose of work abroad. She also reminded the LUCs on the scheduled monitoring and inspection by the CHED Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance (OIQAG) and Regional Office and the submission of compliances beginning January in 2025. As such, the honorable director cited some good practices of LPC in the light of program operations.
